Account Deletion

1. Introduction

At SoliaPay, we believe in true financial sovereignty. This means you not only own your assets but also maintain full control over your data. This page outlines exactly how you can delete your account directly from the mobile application, what data is permanently erased, and what immutable data remains on the blockchain.

2. How to Delete Your Account

You can initiate the account deletion process easily from within the SoliaPay native mobile application. Please follow these steps:

  1. Open the SoliaPay App on your device and log in.
  2. Navigate to the Settings tab via the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select Security & Profile.
  4. Scroll down and tap the red Delete Account button.
  5. You will be prompted to authenticate via Biometrics (FaceID/TouchID) or your PIN to confirm the action securely.

* Note: Once confirmed, the account deletion procedure begins immediately and cannot be reversed. Please ensure you have backed up any necessary seed phrases or recovery materials before proceeding.

3. Data We Delete

Upon successful execution of the delete command, the following data is permanently purged from our active databases and secure enclaves:

  • Personal Identity Information (KYC): If you provided identity documents for fiat on-ramps, this data is removed from active systems (subject only to strict AML retention laws).
  • Turnkey Enclave Metadata: The passkey associations and cryptographic attestations linking your device to the smart wallet are severed and safely wiped.
  • Session & Device Data: Analytics, active sessions, and push notification device tokens are wiped immediately.
  • Off-Chain Profiles: Any customized usernames, UI preferences, or off-chain avatars.

4. Data We Retain

Immutable On-Chain Records

Due to the fundamental nature of blockchain technology, neither SoliaPay nor any other entity can alter or delete public ledger data.

The following data CANNOT be deleted:

  • Wallet Addresses generated by the application.
  • Your entire transaction history (transfers, swaps, bridge actions) on chains like Arbitrum, Base, or Optimism.
  • Smart Contract interactions related to your wallet.
